Anita Hollander is a study in courage and dedication. A lifelong performer, Hollander contracted cancer in her left leg and at the age of 26 had to have it amputated.
Amazingly, she was directing and acting in a play at the time of the amputation... she missed two weeks of rehearsals and was back with the company to open the show on time.
Anita Hollander is an actor, singer, director and teacher and her one-woman-show about living with one leg is called 'Still Standing.' Her story, Friday on The Bob Edwards Show.
