Each week we’ll hear a new This I Believe essay - today from Shannon Denney. With four generations living under one roof, life in her house can be chaotic, but Denney insists on serving a home-cooked meal each night. Denney believes that preparing and sharing food demonstrates her love for her family and friends. Although trained as an attorney, Denney’s first love is cooking. She began learning to cook at her mother’s side and is teaching her two daughters to cook the same way. Click here to read a transcript and to listen to the audio of her “This I Believe” essay.
