Dan Gediman, Bernard Baruch and This I Believe

Each week Bob is joined by Dan Gediman, the Executive Director of This I Believe, Inc. to discuss one of the original essays from the 1950s radio series. This week’s featured essay is by Bernard Baruch. He rose to prominence as a financier and member of the New York Stock Exchange. Baruch also became a trusted presidential advisor to Woodrow Wilson during World War I, to Franklin Roosevelt during the New Deal and World War II, and to Harry Truman after the war.
